Family Promise Union County

Family Promise Union County (FPUC) is the flagship program of the national office and the first site established in the national network.

The need for shelter and comprehensive support services in Union County only increased during the pandemic. In 2023, Union County:

    • Served 1,004 individuals and 333 households
    • Provided over 10,000 nights of emergency shelter
    • Provided housing stability screening to 1,217 households
    • Prevented 300 episodes of homelessness
    • Engaged 500 volunteers to provide services in financial capabilities, health and wellness, tutoring and more
    • Diverted 100 households from shelter
    • Ensured 100 PERCENT of  households served left shelter for housing

FPUC provides meaningful opportunities for people to make a difference in the lives of families in their community and empowers families to maintain employment, housing, and hope.
