It is the goal of Family Promise to join the national effort to change HUD’s definition of who is homeless to include those, especially families with children and youth, who are temporarily living in someone else’s home (doubled-up) or week to week in motels.
We seek passage of the Homeless Children and Youth Act of 2015 (H.R. 576 and S. 256).
We want to engage…
- National staff, regional reps and associates,
- Affiliates’ staff and board members,
- Guests and former guests,
- Friends of homeless families in our communities
…to persuade our elected representatives to pass the Homeless Children and Youth Act of 2014.
