Family Promise Sets Record with Spring Event

Martin Wise, Board Chair, welcomes guests to the May 2010 spring event.

Family Promise set an all-time fundraising record at our 8th Annual Spring Event, held at Baltusrol Golf Club on May 21st. Over $250,000 was donated to support efforts nationwide to help homeless and low income families achieve sustainable independence. We wish to thank our donors, volunteers, Board Members and loyal friends for their invaluable contributions to the evening’s success.

Family Promise Holds Their Tenth National Conference in Orlando

Family Promise convened in Orlando from
April 30-May 2, 2010 for Dare to Dream, their national conference celebrating successes and exploring ways to continue meeting the challenges they face in their local communities. 2009 was an especially tough year for struggling families-unemployment peaked at over 10% and more families found themselves without homes than anytime since the Great Depression.
