Family Promise, the nonprofit leader addressing family homelessness on a national level, is pleased to announce the addition of Nadim Ahmed to its National Board of Directors. Ahmed serves as President, Worldwide Markets for Celgene Corporation, which, like Family Promise, is headquartered in Summit, New Jersey.
Ahmed welcomes the opportunity to join the organization’s efforts to help families experiencing homelessness and low-income families attain sustainable independence. “I especially appreciate the way Family Promise delivers local housing solutions for families. By focusing on helping the family unit, Family Promise has the opportunity to positively impact so many lives.
“I am very honored to be joining the Family Promise Board, an organization that has taken on the challenge of homelessness on behalf of the most vulnerable members in our communities,” Ahmed added. “I look forward to being afforded the opportunity to serve families across the nation.”
Family Promise Board Chair Angela Schroeder recognizes the value Ahmed brings to the organization. “Nadim will be a sterling asset to our National Board with his global strategic perspective and his deep empathy for the less fortunate. We very much look forward to welcoming him to our team.”
