For the past five years, Family Promise and IKEA U.S. have worked side by side to support families experiencing homelessness. Together, we have transformed transitional housing spaces, shelters, and day centers into welcoming places where families can find comfort, stability, and hope.
In more than 18 U.S. markets, IKEA has contributed furniture donations, employee volunteer hours, and design expertise that has helped Family Promise sites create warm environments where families can begin to rebuild their lives.
As IKEA U.S. marks its 40th anniversary, the partnership with Family Promise is expanding. In celebration, IKEA donated 40% of every purchase from its Nytillverkad collection to Family Promise and thanks to IKEA shoppers, the $40,000 max goal has already been reached! These contributions will directly help families facing homelessness and housing instability across the country.
