Family Promise Week Recognized by NJ Government Officials
Governor Phil Murphy and Senator Cory Booker Recognize Family Promise Week 2019.
This week, October 20th through October 27th is Family Promise week! Family Promise is thankful to our New Jersey government officials for recognizing and supporting our efforts to raise awareness in the fight against family homelessness. You can view letters from Governor Phil Murphy and Senator Cory Booker below.
Family Promise envisions a nation in which every family has a home, a livelihood, and the chance to build a better future. What began as a local initiative in Summit, NJ, has become a national movement that involves 200,000 volunteers and served more than 125,000 family members in 2018. Family Promise will change the future for 1 million children by 2030. Let’s start on October 25! For more information about Family Promise Giving Day, please visit www.fpgives.org.
