The $15,000 grant will allow Family Promise to continue its response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic crisis, which disproportionately impacts low-income families. The Worldwide ERC® Foundation for Workforce Mobility has donated over $50,000 to Family Promise since 2015.

“On behalf of the Worldwide ERC® Foundation for Workforce Mobility and our mobility community, we are honored to partner with Family Promise and support their initiatives to prevent homelessness. Family Promise aligns with our focus on helping families with housing and our core belief of embracing the charitable power of many hearts to lift up the lives of others. In this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more critical than ever that we find ways to help families with secure housing”, said Anne Bartoloni, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Foundation.

“We are incredibly grateful for the multiyear partnership we have with the Worldwide ERC® Foundation for Workforce Mobility,” said Claas Ehlers, Chief Executive Officer of Family Promise. “As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, housing has only become more important for families. Low-income families across America need stable homes to stay healthy, succeed at virtual learning, and much more. This partnership makes our continued efforts to prevent and end family homelessness possible.”

Family Promise has Affiliates in over 200 communities across the United States that provide prevention, shelter, and stabilization services to families at risk of and experiencing homelessness. Traditionally, Family Promise Affiliates have operated shelters in community spaces and congregations, but the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted them to find creative ways to continue serving families while ensuring safety.

The Worldwide ERC® Foundation for Workforce Mobility was established in 2004 with a mission to energize the global community through charitable giving. Its vision is that all communities touched by global mobility are actively aware of, inspired by, and engaged in our charitable efforts, worldwide. In October of 2020, the Foundation will host a Gala Auction to benefit the Foundation for Workforce Mobility and its charitable partners and initiatives.
