Summit, NJ—Family Promise, the nation’s leading nonprofit working to end family homelessness, awarded $5,000 to 35 Family Promise Affiliates to improve technology optimization—including hardware, software, and connectivity. The funding will improve technology access and capacity for Affiliate staff and the individuals served in Family Promise programs. Affiliates were selected through a competitive, national RFP process.

Working in over 200 communities nationwide, the Family Promise network needs technology solutions that are creative and up to date. This funding will allow Affiliates to better assist clients and families through the intake process, to track data and family housing successes, to communicate with donors, to engage volunteers, and to support staff through remote or hybrid work.

“One of our core objectives is to use technology to serve more families more effectively,” said Michael Timmons, Family Promise’s Chief Technology Officer. “These grants go a long way in helping Affiliates achieve that objective.”
